Brent N. Hunter, Chairman, Director, Producer, Writer

In addition to running Spirit Rising Productions, Brent Hunter is an Information Technology professional. Between 2001 and 2008, he worked at Wells Fargo Bank where he was given increasing levels of technical and managerial responsibilities. From 2008 to 2009 he was the IT Manager/Director/CIO at the Surplus Line Association of California, an organization that is responsible for monitoring the ~$6 billion surplus line insurance market in the state of California. At night and on the weekends, he is currently focusing his energies on Spirit Rising Productions, The Rainbow Bridge Foundation, The Earth Communications Center, The Global Dialogues, and a few other currently-unveiled projects.

From 1994 to 2001, Mr. Hunter envisioned, produced and directed the first and largest all-inclusive World Community in cyberspace, "The Park". Mr. Hunter managed an international team of high-tech professionals including programmers, engineers, web developers, graphic artists, financial analysts, operations personnel, legal counsel and more than 160 volunteers located worldwide. Mr. Hunter established and facilitated relationships with a world-class multi-paneled Board of Advisors, various strategic partners, the global team of volunteers and the burgeoning online community of more than 700,000 members located in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Prior to founding The Park, Mr. Hunter served as sales consultant for Electronic Commerce leader GE Information Services and completed the fast track Information Systems Management Program within GE Aerospace. Prior to working at General Electric, Mr. Hunter founded and operated a company that designed, manufactured and sold a line of digital I/O (input/output) interface products worldwide via mail order magazine sales while pursuing his undergraduate studies.

Mr. Hunter brings over 20 years of application development experience, digital hardware design, and experience as a psychotherapist and personal catalyst to Spirit Rising Productions. Mr. Hunter graduated with a B.S. in Math and Computer Science from Clarkson University, an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Villanova University and the equivalent of an M.S. in Information Systems as a Graduate of the General Electric Information Systems Management Program. Mr. Hunter is a National Certified Counselor, an Eagle Scout, a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne School and is a member of a number of civic organizations.
